Job summary

Home Leasing seeks a Maintenance Technician in Lykens, PA 17048 to support the Maintenance Superintendent in daily upkeep of the building and grounds. This part-time position offers 24 hours per week with on-call duties and a focus on reliable, high-quality maintenance service.

The role requires a high school diploma and prior property maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, plus strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Previous property maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry.
• Ability to work well with others, good communication skills, ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on apartments, common areas and parking lots, including routine service calls and turnover work.
• Implement the Preventative Maintenance Schedule.
• Prepare reports on property conditions after inspections.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles and buildings; provide on-call coverage for emergencies.
• Prepare apartments during turnover and complete resident service requests.
• Perform snow removal and inspect parking lots for issues.
• Report property damage and unusual conditions in writing.
