OSF HealthCare seeks a part-time Family/Urgent/Emergency Medicine physician to provide clinical care and director oversight of a 7-day-a-week walk-in clinic in Escanaba, Michigan.

The physician will supervise mid-level providers, coordinate with nursing and administrative staff, and collaborate with clinic leadership. Epic EMR is used for documentation and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
• Licensed by the DEA to prescribe narcotics if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty.
• Eligible as a provider for Medicare and Medicaid.
• Provider has medical staff membership and privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in Family, Urgent, or Emergency Medicine and oversee the walk-in clinic.
• Supervise 7–8 APPs and collaborate with nurses and leadership.
• Offer real-time support and clinician oversight for patient experience.

JOB SPECIFICS:

• Busy Prompt Care practice seeks an experienced Family, Urgent, or Emergency Medicine part-time physician to provide clinical care and director oversight of 7-day-a-week walk-in clinic.
• Candidate will serve as supervising physician for mid-level providers offering clinical oversight, collaboration, education, patient experience concerns, and real-time support.
• Typical clinical schedule includes one 10-hour shift per week with one weekend shift per month.
• Work closely with 7–8 APPs, nurses, CMAs, FOAs, and departmental leadership, including the clinic manager and supervisor.

• Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $305,000-$325,000.
  • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
