Job summary

Sun Broadcasting, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Programming Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our programming department. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys radio, social media, audio production, and community involvement.

You will work independently, create engaging social content, identify events, and assist with promos, voice tracking, and miscellaneous programming tasks as directed by station management. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• On-air, basic audio production and social media experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation; ability to work evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who works well independently while following the direction and strategy established by station management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and publish engaging social media content for station brands.
• Identify community events, festivals, and promotional opportunities where the stations should have a presence.
• Represent the stations at promotional events, and community appearances.
• Produce and edit audio for on‑air use, including promos, commercials, and other programming elements.
• Be available for voice tracking on air shifts
• Assist with various programming, promotional, and administrative projects as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Sufficient manual dexterity and visual acuity to handle technical components and read screens or documentation.
• Ability to travel between work areas or locations as needed.
