SCAD Atlanta invites applications for a part-time luxury and brand management professor. In this role, you will prepare talented students for roles in tech, travel, hospitality, beauty and fragrance, and fashion, and contribute to engaging teaching and learning at SCAD.

You will design syllabi, hold office hours, provide feedback, and participate in assessments while maintaining a professional classroom environment.

• Maintain an active and engaged classroom environment
• Design syllabi and submit them for approval
• Hold office hours and midterm grade reviews to provide feedback to students

• Conduct course- and program-level assessments

As a Part-time Professor, You’ll

• Model professionalism and record attendance
• Fulfill grading and academic documentation requirements
• Follow academic policies and regulations
• Support academic assessment and institutional effectiveness efforts
• Attend on-ground and virtual events including faculty councils, admission events, curriculum assessment and development, exhibitions, or other publicity assignments

Minimum qualifications:

• Terminal degree in luxury and brand management or a relevant field
• Academic and professional credentials to teach in luxury and brand management
• Two years of work experience in a related profession OR post-secondary teaching experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Teaching experience at the collegiate level
