Job summary

SCAD Atlanta is seeking a part-time luxury and brand management professor to educate students for leadership roles across tech, travel, hospitality, beauty, fragrance and fashion sectors. The successful candidate will create syllabi, maintain an engaged classroom, and provide extra help sessions and field experiences.

The role includes designing course assessments, delivering feedback, and participating in faculty events while adhering to university policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in luxury and brand management or a relevant field.
• Academic and professional credentials to teach in luxury and brand management.
• Two years of work experience in a related profession OR post-secondary teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active and engaged classroom environment.
• Design syllabi and submit them for approval.
• Hold office hours and midterm grade reviews to provide feedback to students.
• Be available to students outside of regular class hours through extra help sessions, extended learning opportunities, and field trips.
• Conduct course- and program-level assessments.
• Model professionalism and record attendance.
• Fulfill grading and academic documentation requirements.
• Follow academic policies and regulations.
• Support academic assessment and institutional effectiveness efforts.
• Attend on-ground and virtual events including faculty councils, admission events, curriculum assessment and development, exhibitions, or other publicity assignments.

Preferred qualifications:

• Teaching experience at the collegiate level
