Job summary

Cambrian College's School of Skills Training is seeking part-time professors to teach in the Automotive Service Technician Program (310S) – Apprenticeship starting January 2027.

Qualified applicants must hold Automotive Service Technician 310T Red Seal, have five years of relevant work experience, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, plus the ability to be an effective classroom role model and team player.

Qualifications

• Must hold Automotive Service Technician 310T Red Seal qualifications.
• Five years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to be an effective role model in the classroom.
• Ability to use creative teaching approaches and current teaching strategies.
• Possess good organizational skills and sound computer software skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Automotive Service Technician Program (310S) – Apprenticeship starting January 2027.
• Review courses and deliver engaging instruction.
• Foster student progress through contemporary teaching methods.

Qualifications

• Must hold Automotive Service Technican 310T Red Seal Qualifications (A copy of educational documents must be submitted with application *** education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application )
• Five years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to be an effective role model in the classroom.
• Ability to use creative teaching approaches and current and emerging teaching and learning strategies to enhance student progress.
• Possess good organizational skills and sound computer software skills. Ability to function within a team environment

Additional Assets/Preferred

• Previous teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
