Job summary

The Hertz Corporation is seeking drivers in Newark, NJ for flexible shifts. You will be provided with a vehicle at no cost, including fuel and insurance, and paid hourly with bonuses and tips. Safety is prioritized, with clean, inspected cars and cameras on board.

Shifts are available up to five per week, with specific AM and PM slots. Candidates must be at least 23, hold a NJ driver’s license, and have driving experience. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license.
• Minimum one year of licensed driving experience.
• Drivers under 25 must have a minimum of three years of licensed driving experience.
• Fluent in English (read, write and speak).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers who you connect with through the Uber app.
• Deliver a friendly, professional experience and respond to passenger needs.
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading items.
• Use GPS and maps to determine optimal routes.
• Follow all company safety procedures and protect company assets.
• Complete required pre and post-shift vehicle inspections.
• Retrieve and return vehicles during each shift.

We provide the vehicle for your shift at no cost to you—including fuel, maintenance, and insurance. Simply show up, pick up your vehicle, and start earning. Drivers are paid hourly (not per trip) with opportunities for bonuses and tips.

Safety is our top priority. All ORO vehicles are clean, inspected, and equipped with cameras.

Schedule & Availability

Work up to five shifts a week Monday - Sunday (only two shifts required).

Available Shifts:

• AM Shift: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• AM Shift: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
• AM Shift: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• PM Shift: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• PM Shift: 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM
• PM Shift: 6:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Hourly Rate:$15.92/hour + tips
