JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The College of IST’s Office of Learning Design has openings for a part-time Production Specialist, with a focus on accessibility. This position will primarily focus on applying accessibility standards for courses that are part of the IST’s undergraduate and graduate degree programs.This is an in-person position based at University Park.Resumes and cover letters arerequiredand must besubmittedas .docxwhen applying for theposition.Successful candidates mustpossessa strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and adhere to outlined steps in a detailed process.

Primary Responsibilities

• Edit Canvas courses for accessibility.
• MakeWord,PowerPoint,andPDFfiles accessible.
• Createalt-text and long descriptions for images.

• Organizeboth working and completed projectfiles.

Additional Duties (as assigned)

• Maintainaccessibility compliance for courses/webpages.
• Assistincreating and revisingCanvascourse content.
• Maintain and updatewebpages.
• Conduct course quality assurancechecks.
• Maintainoffice records and documentation.
• Support otherrelated projects as needed.

Position Details

• Hours: 10-18 hours/week during Fall 2026(withpossible extensioninto 2027).
• May be eligible for internship credit, depending on program requirements.
• Location: University Park campus (this is not a full remote position).
