MPX in Portland, ME is seeking Part-Time Production Operators to support high-speed mail production in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Training is provided and opportunities for growth are available.
We hire for reliability, attention to detail, strong communication, and a willingness to learn. You may work 4–10 hour shifts, stand for long periods, and lift equipment as part of daily production tasks in a safe, collaborative environment.
Production or machine operation experience is helpful but not required. We will train candidates who bring strong work habits, positive energy, good judgment, and a willingness to learn.
SFX continues to grow and we are looking for dependable, team-oriented individuals to join our production team as Part-Time Production Operators. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants steady part-time hours, and is ready to learn valuable production skills in a supportive environment.
The right candidate does not need to come in with technical machine experience. What matters most is reliability, attention to detail, a positive attitude, strong communication, and the ability to recognize when something does not look right and speak up quickly.
In this role, you will help support high-speed mail production equipment in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. You will be trained to follow job instructions, monitor quality, identify issues early, and communicate clearly with leads, supervisors, and team members.
We are more interested in finding the right person than finding someone who already knows the equipment. Previous production or machine operation experience is a plus, but it is not required.
Reliable attendance, steady effort, accountability, and willingness to pitch in where needed.
Comfort asking questions, sharing concerns, reporting problems, and keeping the team informed.
Curiosity, coachability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn equipment and processes.
Experience with mail inserter equipment, including BlueCrest or Pitney Bowes systems, is a plus. However, we are happy to train dependable, coachable candidates who are eager to learn and committed to doing quality work.
We are required to notify employees and applicants that MPX and SFX America utilize video monitoring equipment in our Portland, ME and LaVergne, TN locations. Cameras are located throughout the buildings and are designed to capture movement between locked areas that require badge access, both ingress and egress from the building and internally between MPX and SFX in order to capture who is coming and going from the building including personnel and/or visitors. In addition, cameras are pointed at areas where physical media is being handled. Access is restricted to authorized personnel based on their role, and MPX maintains documented physical security controls within its IT Policy that govern facility access, visitor management, and video surveillance.
