Job summary

Blood Assurance is seeking a part-time Product Technician to work in our downtown Chattanooga lab on 3rd Shift (11:00PM-7:00AM) Monday - Friday, with rotating weekends and occasional holidays. This position offers a $3/hr shift premium. 3rd shift experience is preferred but not required.

Product Technician duties include answering phones to take orders, packing blood products, notifying courier when shipment is ready for pickup, receiving components, and manufacturing according to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Be detail oriented.
• Have excellent customer services skills (both verbal and written).
• Be able to lift 50lbs on a routine basis.

Responsibilities

• Answering phone to take orders from area hospitals that are in need.
• Packing blood and/or blood products for distribution according to standard operating procedures.
• Notifying Courier when shipment is ready for pickup.
• Receiving blood components from multiple locations.
• Manufacture blood and blood components according to standard operating procedures.
