Job summary

Food Lion in Fayetteville, NC, is seeking a Produce Associate to provide quality customer service and maintain standards in the Produce Department. You will help maximize sales through friendly service and proper product presentation.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, and supporting store operations. You will wear the uniform, complete CBT training, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in Produce.
• Unload trucks for the Produce Department.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying follow guidelines.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
• Report accidents per established procedures to the Manager on Duty.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with apron, name badge when on duty.
