Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time Associate to take excellent care of customers, ensure high standards in produce handling, and support store operations. You will build product knowledge and assist with sales while maintaining a clean, organized front-end and produce area.

Responsibilities include stocking, unloading, and providing friendly service, with floral clerk duties as needed. Must be at least 16, with basic education and willingness to train.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; willing to complete required training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and to present information to customers in English.

Responsibilities

• Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations.
• Process/pack/stock produce per Produce Standards and maintain clean work areas.
• Provide customer service; unload stock and reload salvaged items.
• Perform duties of floral clerk when assigned.
• Assist with overall store operations and teamwork.
