Fresh Thyme Market in Cranberry Township seeks a Produce Clerk to keep the department clean, stocked, and well presented, while assisting customers with selections and information. You will accept shipments, log product quality, and support pricing and promotions.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 1–2 years in grocery retail; experience in natural foods is a plus. Must work varied hours and maintain a friendly, energetic demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• Preferred 1–2 years grocery retail experience in Floral/produce.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep produce, floral, storage, and work areas clean and safe.
• Stock and rotate produce; display items; tag and price accurately.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selection.
• Receive, inspect, and log product shipments for quality and temperature.
• Monitor signage; ensure recipe cards and coupons are available.
• Operate equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, pallet jacks.
• Participate in pre-inventory prep and back stock management.
• Support and run the cut fruit/vegetable program.
• Help achieve department sales and profitability goals.
• Maintain product knowledge and department cleanliness.
