Precision Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN and part-time opportunities in Cumberland, Maryland. The role supports occupational therapists in delivering therapy programs, documenting progress, and guiding patients and families in home programs and adaptive equipment use.

The ideal candidate will hold Maryland state licensure as a COTA, possess an associate's degree in an OT-related field, and have experience in outpatient

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or certification as a COTA.
• Maryland licensure required.
• Associate's degree in an occupational therapy related field from an accredited program.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plans, implements, and administers educational, vocational, and recreational programs to restore and enhance performance.
• Observes and records patients’ progress and maintains records.
• Instructs patients and families in home programs and use of adaptive equipment.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and coordinates care plans.
