Job summary

Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a qualified Part Time PRN Anesthesiologist to join the Department of Anesthesiology at Harris Health/Quentin Mease locations. The selected candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based anesthesia services to high-acuity patients as part of a dedicated team.

Responsibilities include preoperative assessment, administering all anesthesia modalities, monitoring, airway management, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD degree with anesthesiology residency.
• Board certified or eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based anesthesia and pain care services at all acuity levels.
• Administer all forms of anesthesia including inhaled, IV, neuraxial, and regional.
• Assess patients preoperatively to formulate anesthetic plans.
• Insert and use invasive and noninvasive monitors.
• Respond to emergencies for airway management.
• Document anesthetic information and patient condition.
• Share in call responsibilities and participate in quality improvement.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
