UCLA Health and David Geffen School of Medicine seeks a part-time EEG technologist for its telemetry EEG lab. The role involves routine and long-term EEG setup, data acquisition, and artifact detection under limited supervision.

Experience with adult and pediatric telemetry, ICU continuous EEG, outpatient and portable studies is valued. The position may rotate to other UCLA sites as needed, including Ronald Reagan Medical Center and Santa Monica facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related field experience for Principal EEG.
• Ability to rotate to UCLA sites and work in telemetry EEG lab.
• Proficiency in EEG artifact detection and long-term EEG setup.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and long-term EEG setup with minimal supervision.
• Detect and eliminate artifacts to ensure clean EEG data.
• Describe EEG findings in a review style format to assist physicians.
• Learn and apply new protocols (adult/pediatric telemetry, ICU EEG, outpatient, portable studies).
• Support at UCLA medical centers including Ronald Reagan, Santa Monica and West Valley.

At the level of Principal EEG Technologist it is expected that the individualshow self-direction and This is a part-time EEG technologist position attelemetry EEG lab at the UCLAMedicalCenters. This position may require you to rotate to other and our future UCLAsites as well. It is expected that the individual be capable of performingroutine and long-term EEG setup, with minimal supervision.The basic rudiments of EEG acquisition shouldbe second nature.Artifactdetection/elimination skills should be adequate.The technologist should be able to describeEEG findings in a review style format, to assist physicians in preparing EEGdata, and to be flexible enough to learn new protocols i.e. Adult and PediatricTelemetries, ICU continuous EEG, Outpatient, Portable Studies. May provide support at our Ronald Reagan, Santa Monica andWest Valley Medical Hospitals.

A minimum of three years of experience in the relatedfields is required for the Principle EEG title. Those who do not meet thoserequirements will be considered for the EEG Technologist or Senior Technologisttitle based on credentials.

• Salary Range EEG Tech: $41.60 - $54.87
• Salary Range Senior EEG Tech: $45.06 - $59.45
• Salary Range: Principle EEG Tech: $59.64 - $78.69

Salary Range: $41.60 - $78.69 Hourly
