Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles is seeking an EEG Technologist to support world class patient care. The role requires self-direction with minimal supervision, basic EEG acquisition, artifact detection, and the ability to describe EEG findings to junior faculty in a review format.

Candidates should be prepared to learn new protocols including telemetry, ICU EEG, outpatient and portable studies and may float to other UCLA sites as needed.

At the level of EEG Technologist it is expected that the individual be capable of self-direction with minimal supervision. It is expected for the EEG technologist to hold the basic rudiments of EEG acquisition. Artifact detection/elimination skills should be adequate. The technologist should be able to describe EEG findings to junior faculty in a review style format. The EEG Technologist must be flexible enough to learn new protocols i.e. Adult and Pediatric Telemetries, ICU continuous EEG, Outpatient, Portable Studies. Based on departmental needs, the EEG Technologist (PT) may be required to float to other UCLA sites, must participate in the on-call schedule and be flexible and available with the work schedule. Our ideal candidate will have completed an electroencephalography program.

Salary Range: $44.12 - $58.19/Hourly
