Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive health care within licensed scope. The role involves routine exams, diagnostics, and patient education, with responsibilities including prescribing treatments and coordinating with the care team.

Minimum requirements include MD/DO with state licensure, board certification preferred, and at least 1 year of PCP experience.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school and licensed in the practicing state.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of PCP experience preferred.
  • Collaborate with advanced practitioners as required by state/facility.
  • CPR certification and health-related certificates as applicable.
  • TB testing (PPD) or chest x-ray if applicable.
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care within the scope of licensure.
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostic testing, assessments and screenings.
  • Prescribe treatments and manage patient care plans.
  • Instruct patients and families on health conditions and options.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team and follow state/facility requirements.
