Job summary

Grow Together Learning Center, LLC in Clinton, CT is seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher/Assistant for a part-time position with potential for additional hours as the program grows. You will supervise and engage preschoolers, lead small groups, and help foster social and emotional growth while maintaining a clean, welcoming classroom. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with small-group activities, classroom routines, play, art, story time, meals, rest time, and transitions.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioral development using patience, consistency, and positive guidance.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with children, families, and coworkers.
• Work closely with the lead teacher and other staff members as a reliable and flexible team player.
• Follow classroom procedures, safety guidelines, and emergency protocols.
• Model kindness, responsibility, and respect while helping children build confidence and independence.
