Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool or early childhood age groups preferred.
• Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
• Warm, patient demeanor and enthusiasm for working with young children.
• Excellent communication with families and team members.
• Ability to pass a background check as required by state childcare regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities for preschool-aged children
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Support early childhood development across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and daily activitiesMaintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support curriculum goals and school culture
• Observe, document, and assess student development and learning milestones
