Job summary

Marysville School District 25 (WA) Early Learning Center in Marysville, WA is seeking a Paraprofessional 2 Preschool for a 3-hour daily schedule (9:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.), 151 days a year. Reports to Building Principal with responsibilities in supporting students and classroom tasks.

Starting date Aug 31, 2026, with district salary negotiations; in-district applicants receive priority. Minimum qualifications include HS diploma and paraprofessional assessment or equivalent credential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Official Paraprofessional Assessment with score of 455 or higher or college transcript showing 72 quarter credits or an associate degree or higher.
• Completion of 14 hours of Fundamental Course of Study training in first year.
• Ability to assist in de-escalation and support for students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist students one-to-one and in small groups to support instruction.
• Help teachers prepare learning materials and set up classroom activities.
• Assist students with personal care and behavior support as needed.
• Supervise and ensure student safety in classroom and common areas.
• Maintain student records and contribute to progress reporting.
