Job summary

Crievewood United Methodist Child Care is seeking an early childhood educator to provide nurturing and guided learning experiences for preschool-age children. The role is approximately 25 hours per week with potential for more during breaks.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch break from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. The candidate will support the lead teacher in daily routines, implement developmentally appropriate activities, and maintain open

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or obtainable.
• Fingerprinted background check required.
• Ability to be flexible with duties and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guided learning experiences suited to each child’s development and interests.
• Assist the lead teacher with daily routines and classroom management.
• Follow Tennessee Department of Human Resources guidelines.
• Communicate with parents at pick-up times.
