Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a Campus Child Care Support worker to assist full-time teachers in a welcoming environment for children ages 3-5 on the Bloomington campus.

This part-time role offers shifts such as early morning, morning, rest time, and afternoon, with pay of $12.25 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff. It supports training and community service while serving students and families on campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (HSED or GED) is required.
• Experience with preschoolers preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assists the full-time teachers in providing a welcoming, calm, comfortable and nurturing environment for children ages 3-5 years.
• Interacts directly with the children indoors and outdoors, singing songs, playing games, reading books, and providing or assisting with children's personal care.
• Assists with some food preparation and/or lunch set up, and light cleaning.
