United Surgical Partners International is hiring a part-time PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse at Reading Surgery Center. The role ensures patient safety and comfort from pre-op through PACU with potential involvement in conscious sedation and sterile technique.

Requirements include RN licensure in the state, BLS/ACLS (PALS if required), and 2 years PACU/CCU experience preferred. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited RN school and have an active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS are required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Must be able to make decisions based on nursing judgment and prioritize workload.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients in PreOp/PACU.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with duties including conscious sedation and sterile technique.
• Care for patients emerging from anesthesia; assess, plan, implement and evaluate care pre-discharge.
