Equinox Tysons Corner is seeking Barre, Yoga, and Mat Pilates instructors to deliver premium class experiences at the Tysons Corner club. The role requires current discipline-specific certification, teaching experience, and CPR/AED certification. Candidates should be friendly, energetic, and eager for ongoing professional development.
The position is part-time and based on-site, with opportunities to engage in various fitness offerings beyond classes.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching Barre, Yoga, and/or Mat Pilates in fitness clubs.
- Current CPR/AED certification required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the Equinox Experience to members in each class.
- Adhere to class descriptions and modify intensity for participants as needed.
- Monitor exercise intensity throughout each class.
- Ensure classes start and end on time.
- Teach classes regularly and minimize substitutions.
- Communicate with Group Fitness Manager on member feedback, equipment and scheduling.
