Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to train and oversee package handlers and clerks, focusing on safety, productivity, and accurate timekeeping. The role emphasizes team leadership and accountability for attendance and timecard submissions.

The candidate should have experience in a fast-paced warehouse and strong communication skills, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree or international equivalent and management experience.

Qualifications

• Must lift 70 lbs/32 kgs.
• Flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong problem solving & multitasking abilities.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Conducts and participates in group meetings.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure safety and timeliness.
• Understands and consistently demonstrates UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct.
