Job summary

UPS is seeking a capable supervisor to train and oversee Package Handlers and Clerks, focusing on safety, productivity, and accurate timecard submission.

You will lead teams, coordinate evaluations with management, and ensure daily duties are completed safely and on time, while upholding UPS's ethics and code of conduct in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Management experience - Preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Conducts and participates in group meetings.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.
• Understands and consistently demonstrates UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct.
