Job summary

RT. Moore is seeking a Prefab Associate to support the pre-fabrication of tub and shower valve components in line with RTMC quality standards, reporting to the pre-fabrication supervisor.

Based on site in Plain City, OH, you will complete measured fabrication, testing and tagging of sump pumps, and maintain organized material storage while collaborating with field crews on specifications and deadlines.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• No prior experience necessary, warehouse and forklift experience a plus.
• Proactive drive for accomplishing tasks successfully in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic computer skills necessary.
• Clear, effective communications skills – both written and verbal.
• Aptitude for prioritizing, planning, and problem‑solving.
• Preference for accuracy, attention to detail, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly complete the pre‑fabrication of tub and tub shower valves in a manner consistent with RTMC standards ensuring all connections are leak free and valve is operational
• Accurately complete testing and tagging of temporary sump pumps per prescribed methods; keep sump pumps organized and stored in designated location
• Precisely measure, cut and thread black pipe to field crew’s specifications
• Systematically ensure requisition of materials
• Steadily complete prefabrication of other components as required
