Job summary

Tennessee College of Applied Technology Jackson is accepting applications for a part-time Practical Nursing Instructor for the Whiteville Extension campus. The instructor will help train students in Practical Nursing, supervise clinicals, and support curriculum delivery.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Nursing with an active Tennessee RN license, and have at least three years of recent clinical experience. BSN is preferred and teaching experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Must hold active RN licensure in Tennessee.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical RN experience within the last five years.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with conducting training of students in Practical Nursing.
• Assist with curriculum instruction in the classroom.

• Assist with seeking potential clinical sites for training.
• Stay current in the nursing field and share knowledge with administration.

Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing required. Must hold active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee, B.S.N preferred. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years. Teaching experience preferred.
