Job summary

Motlow is seeking a Part-Time Practical Nursing Instructor at the Jackson Campus to support training and classroom instruction for Practical Nursing students. The role includes supervising clinical experiences as scheduled and helping expand clinical training sites.

The successful candidate will hold an active RN license in Tennessee (BSN preferred) and bring at least three years of recent clinical nursing experience, with teaching experience preferred. This is a part-time faculty position.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Active RN license in Tennessee; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with conducting training of students in Practical Nursing.
• Assist with curriculum instruction in the classroom.
• Supervise students’ clinical experiences as scheduled.
• Assist with actively seeking potential clinical sites for clinical training.
• Demonstrate a commitment to staying current in the nursing field.
• Confer with administration to understand policy, procedure and technology changes.
