Job summary

Dakota County Technical College seeks a temporary, part-time Practical Nursing Instructor to join a vibrant, student-centered learning community. The role focuses on clinical instruction and foundational labs, with courses taught at off-site clinical locations.

The candidate will teach Clinical I & II and Foundations Lab for the 2026–2027 academic year, handling a load of about 12 credits per term during fall and spring semesters. Start date is August 24, 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or graduate degree in nursing/education with BSN when required.
• Current, unencumbered RN licensure with Minnesota registration.
• Two years of professional RN experience at the bedside or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Teach PNSG 1600 Clinical I and PSNG 1620 Clinical II, and PSNG 1010 Foundations Lab for 2026–2027.
• Deliver 12 credits per term in fall and spring; off-site clinical locations.
• Plan instruction, develop curricula, evaluate students, and maintain records.
• Collaborate with department, promote safety, and participate in professional development.
