Job summary

LION TotalCare in Charlotte is hiring a dependable Part-Time Delivery Driver to transport firefighter PPE between Charlotte Fire Department locations, the Logistics Center, and transfer sites. You will support receiving, tracking, and processing gear as needed. Requires physical strength, clean driving record, and flexibility for a 25–30 hour work week.

Starting rate is $18.00–$19.00 per hour. Schedule may include weekends; potential for future full-time.

Qualifications

• Professional and pleasant disposition for customer service experience.
• Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; no CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience using Outlook/Excel and warehouse tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cargo van to pick up and deliver firefighter gear between stations and transfer sites.
• Follow scheduled routes for daily pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure timely deliveries and keep the van clean and organized.
• Log deliveries and report any accidents or vehicle issues to supervisors.
• Assist receiving and data entry tasks as schedules permit.
