Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven physician to join our post-acute care team in Chicago, Illinois. This part-time role (2 days per week) involves rounding in skilled nursing facilities with strong support, autonomy, and earning potential.

Compensation is fee-for-service with an estimated range of $76,000 to $91,000 annually and no cap on productivity income. New grads are welcome to apply and a comprehensive onboarding program is provided.

Qualifications

• State of Illinois physician license and DEA registration.
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations
