Job summary

The Anchored School in New Jersey seeks a warm, creative Early Childhood Music and Dramatic Play Teacher to introduce preschool–kindergarten students to music, movement, and theater through playful, hands-on experiences.

You will foster joyful exploration, support development, and collaborate with teachers for school events and performances in a safe, inclusive setting.

Early Childhood Music and Dramatic Play Teacher

Position: Music and Theater Teacher

Age Group: Preschool–Kindergarten

About the Role

We are seeking a warm, creative, and enthusiastic teacher to introduce young children to music, movement, and theater through playful, hands-on experiences. The ideal candidate understands early childhood development and creates a joyful environment where children can explore, express themselves, build confidence, and learn through play.

Responsibilities

• Lead age-appropriate music classes using songs, rhythm, instruments, and movement.
• Introduce theater through storytelling, puppets, dramatic play, and imaginative role-playing.
