Job summary

Neurocare, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Portable Device Tech for our Milford location. You will educate patients on home sleep testing devices, program and prep devices, and support data handling and QA. No experience required, paid training provided. Daytime shift, 20-24 hours per week.

Ideal candidates are organized, customer-focused, and able to work independently or with a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year in a customer service, clinical, or patient-facing role.
• Strong verbal communication and patient education skills.
• Strong computer skills; ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Program and prepare HST devices per established clinical protocols.
• Conduct patient teaches, including device application instruction and troubleshooting guidance.
• Upload, review, and verify study data; escalate unscorable or incomplete studies.
• Clean, disinfect, recharge, and inventory HST devices and supplies.
• Assist in monitoring and reducing unreturned device rates.
• Accurately document all device and patient interactions in the EMR/platform.
• Support ongoing quality assurance initiatives within the HST Program.

About the Position

The Portable Device Tech serves as a key member of the Home Sleep Testing department, responsible for high-quality patient education and instruction in the use of home sleep testing devices.

Primary duties consist of:

• Program and prepare HST devices in alignment with established clinical protocols.
• Conduct patient “teaches,” including device application instruction, troubleshooting guidance, and return expectations.
• Upload, review, and verify study data; escal unscorable or incomplete studies per workflow.
• Clean, disinfect, recharge, and inventory HST devices and associated supplies.
• Assist in monitoring and reducing unreturned device rates.
• Accurately document all device and patient interactions in the EMR/platform.
• Support ongoing quality assurance initiatives within the HST Program.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
