Job summary

Tarrant County College seeks a part-time Lifeguard at South Campus to ensure pool safety, supervise patrons, and assist with aquatic programs and pool operations.

This PT - Regular role is not remote, with a maximum of 19.5 hours per week. Starting pay is $18.22 per hour, paid monthly. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, lifeguard, first aid, and CPR/AED certifications, with at least 6 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months of related work experience.
• Lifeguard certification.
• First aid certification.
• CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Safeguards and regulates pool patrons and enforces pool policies.
• Rescues patrons and performs follow-up procedures with proper first aid.
• Maintains daily records and reports on accidents; updates safety requirements.
• Conducts patron swimming tests to assess ability to swim independently.
• Operates equipment safely and attends in-service training.
• Maintains pool equipment and room in a clean, secure state.
