Job summary

MassBay Community College is seeking qualified part‑time instructors for the Practical Nursing program in Framingham. The adjunct clinical faculty member will supervise students in labor and delivery clinicals, grade assignments, and provide substantial feedback to support student learning.

The role requires Massachusetts RN licensure, recent L&D experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Availability for Summer 2025 clinicals and a commitment to student success are essential.

Qualifications

Current unencumbered Massachusetts RN license.
Recent clinical practice in Labor and Delivery.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body.
Clinical teaching experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise students in the clinical setting and guide completion of assignments such as daily clinical worksheets, concept maps, and care plans.
Perform mid‑semester and final clinical evaluations.
Assign, supervise, plan experiences, and evaluate students in practice learning environments based on course outcomes.
Provide feedback to administrators and faculty on learning environments and student preparedness.
Maintain required paperwork and documentation for the program.
