Job summary

Mediko Inc in Redding, CA is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide high-quality psychiatric care to incarcerated individuals. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans and manage psychotropic medications in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

APRNP license with PMH specialization required.
DEA registration or willingness to obtain is required.
PMHNP board certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and risk screenings.
Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
Monitor patient response and adjust treatment regimens.
Provide crisis intervention for acute psychiatric symptoms.
Collaborate with behavioral health staff, medical providers, and custody to ensure safe, integrated care.
Document promptly and maintain HIPAA compliance.
Participate in meetings and quality improvement activities.
