Job summary

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) in Danvers, MA is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team providing medical care to patients undergoing treatment for substance use disorders.

You will conduct comprehensive histories and exams, manage detox protocols, prescribe medications, participate in rounds, document in EMR, and collaborate with behavioral health staff to support integrated care.

Qualifications

• Active MA PMHNP licensure is required.
• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric experience.
• Experience in detox, addiction medicine, or inpatient medical care is preferred.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, autonomy and accurate documentation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive histories and physical exams, including admission assessments.
• Manage detox protocols and monitor withdrawal risks; order labs and tests.
• Prescribe and manage withdrawal‑related and other medications per standing orders.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and coordinate care.
• Document care in EMR systems in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with behavioral health staff.
