Job summary

Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa is seeking an enthusiastic server to deliver exceptional dining room service in line with Santé standards. You will set and reset tables, greet guests warmly, and support servers with supplies, food, and beverages while maintaining menu knowledge and wine awareness.

Applicants should enjoy working under pressure, be team players, and maintain a spotless service area. This on-site role offers PM shift opportunities and hourly pay around market rates.

Responsibilities

• Set and reset tables correctly within the Santé guidelines.
• Proper and friendly service when in contact with all guests.
• Assist servers in any way with supplies, food, and beverage.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of menu, food preparation.
• Some wine knowledge.
• Expedite clean products to all areas.
• Restock service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant and service stations.
• Serve from the cheese cart and maintain extensive knowledge of cheeses.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Side work duties.
• Open availability - PM shifts.

Job Description

To be of service. Sell, deliver and account for products in the dining room in a manner consistent with the SMI standards. These tasks are to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.
