Job summary

Vista Prairie Communities is seeking a dedicated Cook for a part-time PM shift at North Pointe, Assisted Living and Enhanced Care in Minnesota. You will prepare meals per established menus, ensuring safety, sanitation, and timely service while maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area.

You will interact with residents and staff, supporting meal times as needed and helping foster a warm, welcoming dining experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Cook experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals per menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and timely service.
• Follow health regulations and maintain clean kitchen.
• Keep kitchen and dining area orderly.
• Provide friendly service to residents, staff, and guests.
• Assist with resident meal times as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations and resident satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a safe, sanitary, and timely manner
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
• Provide friendly and attentive service to residents, employees, and guests
• Support residents by providing personal care and service during meal times as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and resident satisfaction

What You'll Need:

• High school diploma or GEDis preferred
• Experienceas a cookpreferred
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions required.
