Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist in Pensacola, FL. This role focuses on donor screening and phlebotomy to support plasma center operations. Shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days a week with paid, interactive training.

You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor donors, and handle plasmapheresis equipment setup and troubleshooting. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• 1+ years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions.
• Perform setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with proper disposal.
• Record donor vitals and input data into the DIS system.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement.
