Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain organized shelves. You will gain hands-on experience in retail tasks related to product, customer service, and merchandising while supporting store readiness.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while handling merchandise and maintaining store standards, including overnight prep shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
