Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry level Stocking Clerk to support daily store operations with a focus on customer service, product knowledge, and merchandising. You will stock shelves, assist customers, and work with team members to keep displays organized and inviting.

You’ll move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock as needed, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment. Overnight shifts help prepare the store for the day ahead, with weekly pay and other Meijer Rewards benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Ability to learn about products and store processes.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
