Job summary

Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, seeks a part-time Pickleball Instructor at Miller Community Center to teach fundamentals, drills, and fun while promoting fitness and healthy lifestyles.

You'll deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, plan sessions, set up and clean up, and complete attendance and incident reports. Must be 18+, pass a background check, and provide work eligibility and ID. Pay is $24.50–$26.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for teaching or playing pickleball.
• If hired, must pass a criminal background check.
• If hired, must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. and a valid photo ID.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver developmentally appropriate pickleball lessons and activities for each class, including curriculum planning.
• Plan, lead, and implement appropriate course activities for each session.
• Set up and clean up the space before and after each weekly lesson.
• Complete required administrative reports, such as attendance logs and incident reports.
