Job summary

The City of Loveland is seeking part-time Pickleball instructors to deliver quality instruction for varied age groups and skill levels. Shifts include evenings and weekends to meet program needs, with pay per hour for Instructor I and II based on qualifications and experience.

Instructor I requires basic recreation-related coursework and relevant Pickleball knowledge; Instructor II requires a high school diploma and coaching/teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Previous Pickleball experience and sound knowledge of the activity required.
• First Aid and CPR certifications within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Instruct registered participants.
• Develop, oversee and implement lesson plans; participate in required training.
• Inspect program environment and equipment for safety; respond to emergencies per procedures.
• Complete administrative tasks: skill assessments, attendance, class descriptions for brochures.
• Provide make-up sessions as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
