Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced voice and piano instructor to teach part-time at Flatts and Sharpe Music Company in Norwood Park, IL. This in-person role offers flexible hours within our open schedule, with Thursday and Sunday availability preferred.

Candidates should hold a degree in piano or music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, and demonstrate a love of teaching young musicians.

Responsabilités

• Teach voice and piano in-person at Flatts and Sharpe Music Company in Norwood Park, IL.
• Set and manage availability within our open hours; Thursday and Sunday preferred.
• Maintain consistent schedules and communicate clearly with students and staff.
• Provide a welcoming, professional learning environment for beginners to advanced students.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed.

About the Position
Ensemble Performing Arts is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice & piano instructor to teach part-time at Flatts and Sharpe Music Company, at our Norwood Park, IL location. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON.

Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency. Preference will be given to candidates with Thursday and Sunday availability.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in piano or music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $28-32/hour. Health benefits options and a 401K with employer match are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble after 30 days of employment.
