Job summary

Tutor Doctor of North Jersey is seeking dynamic physics tutors to provide in-home, one-on-one instruction for high school and college students in Ridgewood, NJ and surrounding communities.

Ideal candidates have a strong physics background, at least two years of teaching or tutoring, a bachelor’s degree, and a valid driver's license to travel within a 10–15 mile radius. Flexible scheduling and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physics, chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 2 years tutoring or teaching experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; willingness to travel within 10–15 miles of Ridgewood, NJ.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Provide personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to each student's learning style
• Tutor students in-home, with convenient scheduling around your availability
• Track student progress and submit session reports after each visit

What We're Looking For:

• Strong understanding of physics concepts (chemistry knowledge a plus)
• Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in physics, chemistry, or a related field
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• Willingness to travel within a 10-15 mile radius of Ridgewood, NJ
