Job summary

Tutor Doctor is hiring an Elementary Tutor for reading, writing, and math support for students in the Ridgewood and surrounding areas. Sessions are one-on-one in students’ homes, after school or on weekends, with flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

Ideal candidates include certified teachers, substitute teachers, college or graduate students in education, or retired teachers who enjoy helping students succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary-aged students (tutoring, teaching, education programs, childcare, etc.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to travel to Ridgewood and surrounding areas
• Patient, engaging, and dependable
• Teaching certification preferred but not required

Tutor Doctor is a locally owned tutoring company that has proudly served families in our community for more than 15 years. We provide personalized, one-to-one tutoring in students’ homes and carefully match tutors with students based on subject expertise, personality, and availability.

We are currently hiring anElementary Tutor for reading, writing, and math support for students in the Ridgewood and surrounding areas. Tutors work one-on-one with students to strengthen foundational academic skills, build confidence, and help students develop positive learning habits.

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and making a meaningful impact in their academic growth.

What You'll Do

Schedule
