Job summary

You will collaborate with faculty and staff, use the LMS, and provide timely feedback on student performance while maintaining accurate records. This is a part-time, in-person teaching role with a focus on student success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physics or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of undergraduate physics principles and laboratory practices.
• Ability to safely operate and demonstrate physics laboratory equipment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned undergraduate physics laboratory courses.
• Prepare for and conduct scheduled laboratory sessions.
• Provide clear instruction on experiments, equipment, data collection and concepts.
• Supervise students and promote independent problem-solving.
• Enforce laboratory safety procedures and proper equipment use.
• Evaluate and grade laboratory reports and quizzes.
• Submit grades and maintain accurate records.
• Use the university's learning management system and other instructional technologies.
• Communicate professionally with students about assignments and grades.
• Collaborate with staff and faculty on labs and equipment.
• Report equipment issues promptly.
• Attend orientations and training as requested.
• Adhere to university policies and academic integrity.
• Promote an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
